No 11. Electric aebleskiver pan. The time is coming closer to having the pans available to you. We have signed the contract and the model is being made and shipped for our inspection and testing. There is one little difference from the original order. The finish on the pan will be made of the new and very much improved non-stick material for easy baking and cleaning. It will still be nine holes and the rest as originally specified in the order. We thought this would be an improvement over the original order. The base will be made of stainless steel with a black decorative band around it, instead of the plastic base on the first model. The controls will be in black. This will be made to meet the latest fashion in table models as of today. This will be a big improvement over our original design. We have been promised a delivery date of November 1, 2008. As soon as we have the prototype in, we will take some pictures and post them here on this website. We are still not able to post a firm price, since we are not sure what the shipping and custom charges will be, but it looks like we are talking around $90.00 plus the other unknown charges. Considering what the plain nine hole pans are selling for on the web, this is a great price and well below my expectations. We will keep you posted on any new development coming. At this point we still do not have the product ready,
but are in the process of having them manufactured and imported. We
want to see if there is a demand for an item like this. The pan will be made of aluminum and have the titanium finish that make them so great to work with. They will have nine holes and the pan will be square. They will be thermostat regulated and the temperature can vary from 200F and up to 350F. This way it can be used for other things beside aebleskiver. The current is made for the US with 115 volt. The model you see here is a temporary model, not the finished product. I am only posting this to get an idea of how it will look like. The finished pan will have nine holes.
The idea is to have it right on your dining table and you make your own aebleskiver right in front of you. Each one can make their own and all be seated around the table. It will be a great conversation piece and help bring the family or friends together. If you think you might be interested in something like this, send me an email and I will add you to the waiting list.
